The Fruit and Vegetable Market of Padua (MAAP) is among the top ten markets at the national level, as concerns the commercial capacity, out of a total of about 250 wholesale and production markets registered in the National Guide of wholesale Italian Fruit and Vegetable Markets and it is also the national leader in export activity, particularly to eastern countries. Since July 2005, MAAP is ISO 9001 - Vision 2000 certified and it also applies to the Management and control Model for the prevention of administrative- criminal liability, better known as the Legislative Decree 231/2001 Model.
